Trash or Treasure
''Another man's trash is another man's treasure''.This statement is something I know we as women have told ourselves, when we have been hurt. But the more I think about it, I realize that we are actually degrading ourselves. I am a treasure, a precious comodity, a unique being that should be loved. We should be respected and give respect. When we make statements like this we are reducing ouselves to the idea that we were never treasure, having worth. We have never been trash, rather we have always been special, just because love didn't work out, or we find ourselves in an unfortunate circumstance, does that mean that we were once not worthy of love? Or our self worth is dependent upon what a man thinks of us? Men, I believe are looking for treasures, period not trash. What do you think?
