Fast Paced World

I've come to realize how impatient I can be. So many times I'll get frustrated when things seem to travel at a slightly slower pace. It affects everything I've come to know. Whether it be a TV show, a relationship, or even learning something new. Almost everything I do is accelerated. I walk faster then most people, talk faster then most people, shower faster, eat faster, etc. I have no interest in slowing down either which I know is a major problem, or at least can lead to major problems.

I see it as life is to short so you need to get as much done as quick as possible. However moving so fast through everything I often forget what I'm doing or when it doesn't work in my RIDICULOUS time frame then I'm just as quick to give up on it or get bored with it.

It would be nice to stop and relax and yet still get everything accomplished that needs to be.

I enjoy your comments,i as well in my younger days thought that there was not enough time in the day to get all that you want accomplished,suffering from anxiety attacks because of time issues was something i suffered from,but as i get older i realize that it is ok to stop and smell the roses,as they say,i still have some issues with things in my life,such as time,but i realize it is a gift and to slow down and really enjoy it,,hope things go well for you!!peace

my comment:(and i'll keep it brief seeing as though you get bored easily) this world is NOT going anywhere. And you are going to burn yourself out trying to do everything every waking moment of you life as fast as you can. It's almost like you dont even enjoy it. WHen you move through anything at a fast pacce, you dont have to time to sit and appreciate it.

If what you have is a medical problem, then seek help and medication for it. That can cause you stress..

If it's not a medical peoblem, maybe you can schedule Down time, just to be able to reflect on what you've already done..

it's just my opinion..

It took a lovely little breakdown before I slowed the F@#k down.

Going so fast in all thing makes you miss most of what is beautiful in life.

Just a few ideas :

Try to slow down when you eat, you'll discover a lots of new flavours, of new textures with your food, drinks even the water can have different tastes.

Try to walk slowly, feel how your muscles works, how each step makes you loose your equilibrium so you can move forward step after step.

Take a seat, have a beer, and look around you. the sky, how the clouds move, do they look like something you know ? the birds ? look how they fly, see how they like to play up there.

Look everything around you, look everything inside you.

You're a "faux_punk", you'll be a "Vrai_being" (Vrai = True)
