I want to take one home...

People from the UK have wonderfully amusing accents and ways of speaking! I almost can't stand it! laugh blushing laugh

I had a college teacher who was much older than me... but her accent alone made her.... very attractive to me. Call me crazy. Sometimes I wish I had my very own British cutie (or bonnie Scottish lass, or an Irish girl with fiery hair) to take home with me. I would probably never get bored. laugh wink

Ah, forgive my ignorance... I said "UK" in the beginning, didn't I? The UK is only Great Britain and Northern Ireland, no?

I am a fan of England. British accent helps me understand the depth of word meanings. American accent is not so at all. You can compare the speeches of Tony Blair with those of G. W. Bush. The former makes you stay cautious but the latter makes you sleep! Anyway, in English accent, you can see a long prominent background down to Shakespeare himself. :)

laugh But don't many in Pakistan speak the same language as those in India? If there is a difference in accent... I guess it would be much like the difference between Americans and Brits.
