Everyone knows what they need to do to get to certain places in their lives, but many of us lack the motivation or commitment level required to actually implement it in our daily lives.

by jazzy75 | Houston, Texas USA | Sep 13, 2009A mind opener and quite educational. Enjoyed reading about cathexis and our motivations and serendipity. It's been years since I,ve read it, but it stuck. Or some of it anyway. Would be good to read again!

by lakeshores | Bowersville, Georgia USA | Sep 1, 2009The part I liked the most was how as Sophie's past was unraveling, it got more and more scandalous.

by leon75 | mgarr, Majjistral Malta | Aug 28, 2009You all would be very surprised to find out how accurate this book is, beyond the fictional scenario surrounding the facts.
by Jamessssssss | Jax, Florida USA | Aug 25, 2009i threw this book out a window. it's awful. badly written rubbish. almost every page is taken up with clumsy expedition and the main character's only reactions to the unfolding events are either shock, amazement, surprise or intrigue. on almost every page you will read, - joey was amazed to discover or joey was surprised to discover or joey was intrigued to discover. dan brown cannot write. i bought this book for 50p out of a charity shop and i still felt ripped off.
by oldpunk | edinburgh, Central, Scotland UK | Aug 22, 2009I thought the story was OK but like many it didn't quite live up to its hype.
by treechanger | Geraldton, Western Australia Australia | Aug 20, 2009Everyone should read this book & continue reading a few verses or a chapter every day. With Divine assistance I was delivered from my addiction to tobacco & alcohol for 3 years. Unfortunately I backslid when I stopped my daily Bible Studies and prayers. I am hoping to get back on the Path.Thank God for His Book.
by Althea7 | Langdon, Alberta, Alberta Canada | Aug 17, 2009Also his Book on Soulmates.
" Only Love Is Real" A must read.
this book is hard to digest for some who dont see the continuity
of life after life until peace or rather the evolution of identity from square one being ignorant of it and back to square one with the knowledge of it , i mean one's own identity or source.
I was happy the faculty of psychiatry started seeing the light from a new angle wondering how to connect the microcosm with the macrocosm.
I have to say, I was also assuming this series was more geared for silly teenagers who didn't have a life. Woops. :) I have too many favorite chapters in each book to pick one that is my most beloved. I love them all.
I think what I like most about the series is that Stephanie Meyer is a great author--there aren't many out there than can still surprise me. The fact that she remained original through out 4 whole books was quite impressive.
Edward & Bella have the kind of love we all dream of. The type that says they would rather die than be separated. Romeo and Juliet. ;)
I was very disappointed with the movie myself, but I do plan to go see New Moon when it comes out--just because. :) The books are just so much more in depth..there's something in reading them that can't be conveyed by acting..
the Twilight saga was awesome the movie was horrible but i love the books
by judysama | pougkeepsie, New York USA | Aug 12, 2009there is a book called beyond the road less traveled but I am sure you and the cat have read that too :)
by Nerida | Basel, Basel-Landschaft Switzerland | Aug 11, 2009"I believe in the mysterious beauty of Margaret Thatcher, in the arch of her nostrils and the sheen on her lower lip"
J.G. Ballard
i completely agree i watched the movie before i read the books because i just couldn't get enough..after watching the movie..i went and got all four books and they are so good books are better than the movie but thats fine..i really don't read a lot this was the first thing in years but i have reread them all so everyone should totally get them
by Fallenangel1986 | oakdale, Tennessee USA | Aug 9, 2009I read this 25 yrs ago, when i was 17 or 18. Its one of the most widely read books in the world. Even my cat has read it. Is there anything up to date. Any new books??
by Marie_Curie | Dublin, Ireland | Aug 7, 2009woodlanders is my favourite of thomas hardy's collection all of which i treasure. woodlanders caught my drifting thoughts focused and assimilated the simple beauty of the language the story the irony and the words something like "philosophy will be enough for me but you! only GOD can help you!!" an absolute stunner that line.
by shhores | HYDERABAD, Telangana India | Aug 7, 2009Very enlightening
by Althea7 | Langdon, Alberta, Alberta Canada | Aug 6, 2009If you don't like it, don't read it. I got rid of 30 Wilbur Smith books because I didn't like all the sex in it. Don't need to ready about dirty old men getting aroused by Epytian treasure (River God. Need to read how the guy gets killed by the good guy since our society calls for the happy ending in every story.
by GravyMaker | baker city, Oregon USA | Aug 3, 2009I don't personally enjoying reading ths book, but I do think it is a book that everyone should read.
by jojo1859 | Dearborn, Michigan USA | Aug 2, 2009This book is totally unreal, power of positive thinking is the way to go, I couldnt put it down. I believe we attract situations of all negitive and positive just by the way we think. I am a true believer of positive thinking and positive affirmations.
