I need to get away to the sun for a bit. Good news being I have 2 weeks off in April but i dont no where to start looking. Im looking for suggestions on where I can go thats safe, as Il be travelling alone and cheap (recession and all that).

any suggestions????

Went to Majorca the year before last on my own not the typical touristy spot think it was Cala Bonna its the other side of the island to Palma Nova and Santa Ponsa. I ended up in a family complex so felt very safe booked it with budget, if you're not fussy where you go leave it until the last minute you'll get it a lot cheaper.
If you are travelling alone sometimes its better to book with an agent it can be reassuring to have a rep calling into the hotel on a regular basis in case theres any problems.

South of France....

Ryan air Dublin to Nice then book into a back packers hostel...chance to meet lots of exciting new people...
Use local buses usually about a euro or two....
Visit the markets....
Beaches, Villages and plenty to see and do....
Antibes, Cannes, Nice, Monaco and Biot etc.....

Well mine is willing to relocate to Ireland to be with me he even asked if I lived alone probably worried about me being in this big empty house all on my own.
