What do we have to lose?

What do we have to lose if we choose to see the
world as a place of beauty?
What do we have to lose if we start to share our
feelings of love instead of throwing back what
is given as attack, perhaps of criticism,
challenges of conflict? The Ego would love to
have us choose those hellish perceptions. I make
another choice.

Do you know you have choices?
Do you actually realize that in every moment you
have the choice of Love or fear?

I'm finding Spirit and good Will is
the right choice for me.

I don't see those horrid perceptions of the world
as something I have to fix in others.
They are perceptions I no longer choose to keep
for myself. I would only
ask that the Spirit - the Holy one - correct those
errors of perceptions in the world. I know that's
not my job. The world of erroneous perceptions
and conflict are not mine to correct. I can just
see things differently. All I need do is to let go,
trust, and have faith. That's such a little simple
thing to do to get so much. Turn it over and let go.

thumbs up thumbs up hug thumbs up thumbs up

Yup smile What is funny is how having the perception of a beautiful world is contagious, grin

I've been a 'carrier of it' for a while, and it is fun to see how the perceptions of others can shift even a little when you flash them a smile or give them a flower, or help them put their grocceries on the checkout line because they are in a motorized shopping cart... just little things that spread that beauty go such a long ways to helping the perception of others get a little brighter!!

Again Dusty just a hug and a thumbs up

Wishing you the very best,
me

I should clarify something I said in the other thread that got this started...

Shedman01: That is a very good thing to do!! Always being grateful for everything you have and being grateful for those things you DON'T have are keys to ensuring both!

When I say be grateful for the things you DON'T have I do not mean to say things like, "I am grateful I don't have..." this is a statement that simply does not come across properly on a universal level.

What I mean about being grateful for what we DON'T have is things that we hope to one day have, or things we wish to keep like health etc. Some examples I use daily are...

I am grateful I am able to pay my bills
I am grateful I always have extra money
I am grateful my health is always good

The above I use in place of negative things like...

I am grateful I don't run out of money
I am grateful I don't have an illness

These kind of statements are not the same universally as the ones above them. The ones above them connect a positive energy because all of the wording has positive energy behind it. "don't" is a negative, when you work with mathematics a negative and a positive bring a negative result, the same holds in this sense. When you focus on being grateful you "don't" have something the result is that often times you will get what you are trying to avoid.

The reason is simply that you are thinking about that negative thing instead of the positive side of it. So the key and what I meant in my above quoted statement is that you can focus on being grateful for those things you do not have yet or don't want to get by being grateful for the positive side of them.

Hope that clarifies what I meant a little better. smile

Plus I wanted to bump the thread up a bit.

Yes, making those choices in a positive manner brings
much better results. To think about what you would
want to bring about in a negative manner would most
likely neutralize the desire at best. So, I understand
what you mean. Thanks for that clarification. bouquet
