branded: I can answer that question for you easily enough. She's not asking what to do to try to get him to change,etc. She's just trying to figure out how to learn if the person she is seeing is going to be like this "if" they actually get together.
When you first meet someone, generally guys do it ALOT, and that's waste up a lot of what they have to talk about, then later on, men generally don't have much to say.
At this point, he doesn't talk much, or joke, or laugh, and she's wanting to know how to find out if this is the way he's going to be "later".
Its not just trying to get the person to change, or to get him to say something.

Well while he was here the day we met he seemed fine. But he still didn't want to talk about me at all, just hisself. No questions or acting like he is interested in knowing about me. did you ever think he is lonely and hasn't been having female company that is interested in him, so he talks about himself. If you listen, and ask questions about him as he is talking, you will get to know him. As far as getting to know you, I truly think that time will come. For all you know, he may feel as he already knows you. Given time, I think it might work out-the ball is in your court-are you gonna let it just bounce away because you are a bigger attention ho than me and hugzz put together????

Well, the other things is though, is if she would have just started a thread " Guys what do you think of this scenario, and what should I do/ expect." Then she would of had a bunch of guys from the site just throw down answers with out stopping to actually consider a valid reply.
I know not ALL the guys on this site do that, but, there are alot that do though. What Lela is hoping for is to find resolve in their experiences with men, and if this sort of things has happened to them and if they can help in any way possible.

not really sure how many men have dated guys in their lives, so I'm not sure how much experience they would have....to ask women, then we can kinda patch our experiences and ideas together and see what we come up with. Although she never excluded men by any means.

Well when I do tell him a few things about me. He doesn't have a conversation with me about anything I say. But when he tells me things about his day what is going on etc. I will ask questions or say something supportive about what he did etc. And I know he likes that. But still thats about it. It like he is holding back or something.They only way I even know he is interested at all is he calls me everyday.
