If I had to change into an animal, then I would lose the power of conscious thought and would therefore cease to exist. All that would have happened is that I would have been destroyed and another creature with some resemblance to me would have been created.

This is a bit like the transporter in Star Trek that I would never use. All the transporter does is kill you and create an exact clone of you in another place.

But if I had a choice what animal would be created in homage of my execution I'd probably name something like:

a PHYTOPLANKTON.

These animals never do anyone any harm and they sit at the bottom of the food chain.

Ask me the question at another time and I'll probably come up with a different answer.

Hey you wouldn't need knitting needles to darn the socks

you would have built in ones n all cat's love wool so a cat
