What about the newest James Bond played by Daniel Craig. His first appearance as Bond was in the movie remake of Casino Royale. In that movie he is captured, tied to a chair, and repeatedly whacked in the family jewels with a large rope. As this is happening and while clearly in pain, he remains defiant and sarcastic to his torturer. Any man that could endure that pain and remain sarcastic is a hero in my book.
