When a woman asks me out on a date it takes off so much pressure. Women are usually out in groups so it is intimidating to approach four or more women to get to know just one. Long story short, it is a fantastic surprise when they make the first move, it should happen more.

I enjoy being asked out or bought a drink or even approached by a woman. I believe it speaks volumes about what type of person they are. It takes confidence and someone who is comfortable with themselves, it also says that this person is motivated and isn't affraid to go after something that they want in life. I like that and have respect for these people, they have learned that if you want something in life you have to go after it.
These are qualities I find attractive in people and a woman who does this would find a receptive prospect in a man like myself. Some men are uncomfortable with the idea of a woman making the moves, I think that also speaks volumes about the kind of person they are.
In short I think if it's something you are toying with, and have never done it, you should make the effort. It's not old fashioned but I don't think it's over the top by any stretch of the imagination. Best of luck to you!
