Your post seems very confusing. Has she a boyfriend or not? You mention 2 boyfriends and then a boyfriend having issues with his girlfriend. 
Let her off.... She is going to do what she wants to do. And more than likely she won't appreciate your help.

The current boyfriend has the trust issues with her wanting to meet up with the ex as friends,

Why do you need advice? I assume she is an adult! She has to sort out her own life. It's not up to you to do that for her.
If you start giving advice and things don't turn out the way she wants them to..who will she blame? You!!!
