CaptainBeirutIII: If she really wants to piss him off, I mean really, she could change it to my last name. Now that would not go down very well. Imagine the scene when you explain it.
He asks: "Why does she want to change her last name to Bogglewussy"?
And you reply: "Because there's this weirdo on CS she's never met, and she rather be affiliated with a weirdo on an Internet site, than with you."
OMG!!!!
Honestly, her last name isn't much better than "Bogglewussy"!
TLC69: I am pretty sure you need the decree to legally change your name.
I did all the divorce paperwork and the ex never read it and knew she wouldn't so i slipped the name change paper work in the stack when i gave her her papers. She was pissed! but still won't drop my name.
Obviously different legalities there so,
As I said previously here it is just a matter of letting people know you are reverting to your original name.
I dont understand why a woman wouldnt do that anyway.
Did he give you a good sales pitch at least? Did he totally open up and give you a long story?
No, he told a mutual friend. That friend didn't tell him that he'd stand a better chance of winning the Australian lottery, because he's really trying to clean up his act, thinking he might be able to win me back.
I told the friend I understand & if it helps to keep him clean & sober, don't tell him.
