Hi, I see you're concerned about matters in Eastern Europe, though you're currently located in a Caribbean paradise!

Maybe you're just passing through.

Possibly most readers of the N. American Forum will wonder what the heck Russia's doing in Georgia!
Are those pesky Putins planning to invade the Carolinas next, or head for the Smoky Mountains?

I agree, The Russians warned those in the west that during the Balkans conflict that if the West Recognised regions as breakaway states that this would lead to others doing the same thing.

So NATO countries recognised "countries" i the Balkans, no the Russian Government is doing the same thing within it's former territory/area of influence.

What's good for the goose, is also good for the gander............

But just watch some politicians bleat about itgrin
