They really were. We thought we were being bad when we ran all over the state park hiding from the ranger who was trying to kick us out after it closed...and when we skinny dipped, we were REALLY bad. It wasn't so complicated back then and a hell of a lot more fun.

..and everyone listened in to you including the operator. (had to go thru the operator and she told everyones business) How about the time limit.. when you had talked so long (maybe 5 min) you were automatically cut off...we beat that tho. You'd get a warning signal and whoever I was talking to and I would say 1, 2, 3 and on 3 hit the button real fast and you'd be reconnected.

I grew up in Las Vegas. It was a much smaller town back in the 50s and 60s We would cruz Fremont Street and make asses out of our selves. Good God Now you cant even drive on Fremont ... And the stip is a parking lot almost the traffic is nuts...
I remember when I was about 12 or so I had a donkey that my neighbors bought me after they inherited some money. Well my folk decided to sell it and I was probably not taking care of it like I should have. Nest thing I know is I am sitting on a coral post talking to Red Skelton and he bought my donkey. Even had it on his show ... My 15 min haha

I grew up in a small town (15,000) everyone knew everyone...had a downtown block, called it the 'dizzy block'. People would go down there on Fri nights and park and meet their friends there.
