An 18 month old toddler in the Tampa, Florida area was listed for sale.
My question is not of the moral aspect of this indecent proposal, but of the criminal act. We are allowed to sell off body parts on the internet for a price, why not the whole body? Should it be considered a crime?

Oh hell yes, that is inhumane and sick. You mean we can legally sell a body part on the internet? I am looking for what I don't need then.

We are not allowed to sell off somebody else's body parts, are we, SV?
Let's say my neighbor, for instance, can I sell him piece by piece?

kellydenise: it is sick and inhumane, but these parents are probably not the best parents anyway. so, why not? maybe the kid will do better with someone else.
As I stated, I am not asking for the immoral aspect of this act......
I can't see why we can't sell any or all of a person of minor age. They legally can not make a decision on their own and state agencies sell children all the time and call it adoption. So, why can't someone do the same with a child?
