honestme: I started to chatting to a guy from another site who told me upfront that he had been made redundant and was currently unemployed. It did not stop me from chatting to him as I had also been in the same situation a couple of years ago. Being unemployed is not a disease, it's just a fact of life for many people in the current climate. We chatted for quite some time and eventually met up. There was an instant connection and we became very close. Unfortunately for me he has now accepted a job abroad as he was sick of trying to find work here. Never once was I looking for someone to support me financially so it made no difference that he did not have employment. I'm on here for genuine reasons, to find friends and hopefully a meaningful relationship. I am no gold digger and I'm sure there are many more women like me on here.

You're right, there is no Mr and Mrs Perfect but sometimes a couple find that they are perfect for each other.
