Not impossible Conrad. He always enjoys being the center of attention with inciting hatred as seen on other forums. I doubt he would have the guts to walk into a Jewish facility and do what Von Braunn did. Von Braunn was very strong in his beliefs. Not so sure this poster is though, but he's definitely "off a few beats." He definitely is an attention seeker and seeking support and approval for his writings.

Yes Norsely, I do read the Talmud. However, I read it and relate to it in today's world. Have you read the Talmud or Old Testament as it is called? It would be difficult to relate to the Talmud if I was to try to understand it and practice it as it was 1000s of years ago. One also has to read it also as a historical part of human history and early formations of religious beliefs. And religious practices have been in a state of continual change throughout the centuries to reflect the current state of a people at different times in history.Perhaps you might consider looking into a Talmudic course that focuses on Talmudic teachings that have to deal with today's spiritual and political challenges.

Truthfully, I found you to be very insulting to Jews based on what you have written in this forum. The term you used "Goyim" is not a cattle term whatsoever in today's world. I find it very odd that a non Jewish person uses this word so freely and in such a prejudicial hateful manner. I am not pre programmed with emotions when the term Jew comes up but I am not blind to your outright hate mongering with you twisting biblical scripture either. By any chance, have you ever been taunted by someone Jewish at some time in your life so as to aspire so strongly to hatemongering like you do?

If you have been taunted, then it would be appropriate to hold only that person responsible and not an entire people of the same faith guilty forever.

Norsely, the Talmud IS the 5 books of Moses AKA "The Torah" AKA, "The Old Testament." It is the origins of the Jewish faith. The "Cradle of Civilization" was in the middleast which is part of Africa. It would make the most sense to state that most likely the foundations of other faiths may have started there too. Perhaps in Babylonia, Egypt and vicinity. Other faiths may share some similarity to Old Testament stories too, maybe not exact wording though.

I don't know about the "2 house theory" but it seems that tribes in their multitudes would have settled in different parts of the middleast anyway. In the O.T., there was an accounting of the males of the different tribes that were of age for warriors. The count was very large. Now add to that the women, children, the sick and the elderly and there would be no way 12 tribes could stay together. They would need their own space to spread out. So of course the tribes would have settled in various sections.
BTW, the tribe that was lost had settled in Ethiopia, hence the Falashas. Operation Solomon airlifted many to Israel around 1980. They are the decendants of Solomon and Bathsheba.They are of black African decent and a very gentle people who literally lived in thatched huts. They were being slaughtered in the Ethiopean conflict and they were hunted down and shot as they were fleeing. I met one lady last year who walked 300 miles as a 9 yr old to get to the Addis Abba airport, was in a very sick critical condition on arrival and was in the first plane airlifting the children out. Coincidentally, one of her rescuers, an elderly Jewish man, was in the room as she was telling her story. You could have heard a pin drop and there wasn't a dry eye in the room when he stood up and said who he was. They couldn't stop hugging.

Now unless you are part of that lost tribe Norse, the other tribes have not ever been lost. They have been spread all over the world(what is termed the "Diaspora") due to wars and persecution pushing them out of the middleast through the centuries.
