For me it has to be the confidence, but also sumthing to attract me,but if a guy can chat away and can have a laugh then thats all that matters.

Between those 2 I would choose confidence over looks but its not all that is required. I have found the quiet guy in the corner can sometimes be more interesting in the long run, but thats not always the case.

i agree.... being able to chat away and get on with people shows a certain amount of confidence and thats a nice trait to have...

Being honest, looks would get my attention but confidence would keep it!

Come on..you have to actually like the looks of the person before you would start or continue a conversation with that guy. Thats why i have to say sometimes..... and i mean sometimes... to chat to a person on here with no picture is more interesting.. theres the intrigue and the mystery...
then it good to finally see a picture by mail or see them on the web cam!
my opinion... for wat its worth!
