Good Point ,In Islam the History says that there are two angels on our shoulder,they both are writing our character,positive and negative.

I support that theory to a certain degree,but often wonder how I have survived some of the ordeals that have happened.Most of my family have passed so I like to think that they are still about,and giving me guidance.Each to their own.

Well I would have to say that was pure chance. How many people are in even worse cicumstances that have NOT had their prayers answered ?
If it was divine intervention for you, then it must be a very twisted and selective kind to reward you with money and ignore others with a much greater need, such as the chronically ill, the starving, persecuted etc ... the list goes on.
Sorry, I just don't buy that.... IMO
