I hate doing report cards...

A while ago I think it was Lago who wrote that he sometimes thinks in emoticons in real life....I think that is what he said. I know I do. Sometimes, I will be in a real conversation and think

blues

sigh

blushing

or my personal favourite

snooty

So, the other day I am sending an MSN text message and I wanted to send a kiss. I can't send emoticons on my phone and did not want to write the word 'Kus' (kiss in dutch), but wanted to spell out the sound that a kiss makes and I realized that I couldn't. How do you SPELL the sound that a kiss makes?...Is it thmootch?, mthhh? Can one not phonetically spell the sound that a kiss makes?

In Johannesburg, South Africa, they have a sound a 'click', how do you spell that sound using English phonetics?

I know this is not important in the grand scheme of things, but it has been driving me mad...

Why? If “kus” isn’t good enough, you can always employ Swedish “puss”. Why not? Kind of exotic.grin

Hi Imma wave get those report cards moving, my friend. Every single student of yours is nervously waiting for it, in suspense for your final verdict..

And here's the sound of a big kiss:

MMWAAAAH!
