A while ago I think it was Lago who wrote that he sometimes thinks in emoticons in real life....I think that is what he said. I know I do. Sometimes, I will be in a real conversation and think
or my personal favourite
So, the other day I am sending an MSN text message and I wanted to send a kiss. I can't send emoticons on my phone and did not want to write the word 'Kus' (kiss in dutch), but wanted to spell out the sound that a kiss makes and I realized that I couldn't. How do you SPELL the sound that a kiss makes?...Is it thmootch?, mthhh? Can one not phonetically spell the sound that a kiss makes?
In Johannesburg, South Africa, they have a sound a 'click', how do you spell that sound using English phonetics?
I know this is not important in the grand scheme of things, but it has been driving me mad...
