ladylumps: I'd like to think Im friendly with everyone here. People can be nice and still have their own opinion. Ive been on CS long enough now to have seen some of the carryon but todays antics were dreadful.

Welcome to Carol's World,Just decided to join a nice thread. Today while others were otherwise engaged on their computers I managed to set up and download my music to my new MP3 player, all by myself, which was a miracle as I am normally a Luddite when it comes to technology.
Then I took my dog for a walk down on Dollier, listened to my music, while watching the waves crash up on to the sand. And, watched, with great pleasure, the amazing moves of about a dozen, young, hunky male kite surfers. Wow, some days are sooooooooooo good ;-)

I was the person who mentioned gang on this thread. It was meant to be a joke but I did not think that it would be taken literally.
I will never give in to a gang/pack mentality or whatever other terms people use. I think that it is rude and ignorant to deliberately try to exclude others for any reason it is however natural that people do eventually form individual friendships which are exclusive then I think that is private and should not be flaunted..as in look at us..woo hoo we are friends and you are not part of it. I have like I said earlier always been made to feel very welcome by people on this site.
I like to think that I have my own opinions and that I am not afraid to voice them but having said that what is the point sometimes on voicing an opinion on a thread where it is just a train wreck to begin with?

To be honest...being in the gang was high pressure for me anyway...sure I didn't even know the handshake

I'm grand. It was great to see the photos of the meet. Don't know how I managed it but I was in photos with 3 seperate young fellas ;-). I really enjoyed the night and hope to meet up with you at another one. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming to me. I think that night shows the true spirit of CS.
