I think it is more a matter of taste ( no pun intended), or lack of it. Some post go too far, I think.

I concur.. The problem is, when others post they may mean one thing and others may be taking it another way.
I have just gotten to that stage in life where I cannot afford to take things personally, although at times I still do.
Do we REALLY know what another may be going through at the times they post??

I agree with you and Wix....but also to each there own. Everyone's taste is different. I read it to watch the differences. Bottom line is, everyone is different. If you don't like what you see..........don't go there!!!! Very simple.....

Not fair to who???? The mods/admin people on sites have a job to do. I am sure they do the best they can, but as in all cases, some have big egos and carry things to the extreme.
Anyone that has read some of my posts are probably wondering why I have not been censored.
Sometimes, I wonder myself.. Now, which thread are you speaking of? Maybe I will do what I do best, complain.
Being old and senile, I am sure the mods will just "consider the source"..
I served as an admin person on another site for a year, not something I would jump at the chance to do again..

I agree Sandie, but there is a old saying, 'Just because you can do something, does'nt mean you should.' While I don't think everything is 'taboo' to do and/or talk about, I DO believe there is a proper time and place for it. And, I don't think it should be JUST for the shock value. Would you allow yourself to be disrespected in PUBLIC or on a PUBLIC FORUM? I would hope not.
