Men by nature are polygamists, not all , but it is jsut the nature of men especaily the Alpha...
it goos back to the caveman and the hunting and hunter theory
where as Women on the other hand are monogamists by nature
they like to care and narture with love.
the study was done by a branch of the mormon church
you can do your own research on this....

How many studies did they conduct because one study does not a finding make in the scientific community?

Monogamy. Quite a funny word really. I don't believe people are capable of being monogamous. And even if they are - they wish they weren't! My personal life experience has afforded me one LTR that was monogamous. I was 18 years old, and the relationship lasted three years. First loves are so innocent and fulfilling that you can't imagine it ever ending. However - with time, experience and basic human need people soon realize there just isn't "one" person for them. As a 35 year old mother of one I am not naive to think I will remain celibate for the remainder of my days, nor will I be committed to one man - at least at present. Each decade of my life has embraced new experiences and new people. In the back of my heart I would love to have a relationship - perhaps not so conventional as most people - but where the contentment and growth afforded by the other person fulfilled me. And I hope to inspire that in men I meet.
