begin2009: Is staying with one partner over a long period or 'forever' the healthiest option for either or both partners ?
Well, some deities are always with their "eternal consorts" and never seem to be bored together.... (e.g. Narayana & Lakshmi, Shiva & Parvati) Look pretty healthy too (if not thriving!)...
Monogany is Healthy, IT takes time to know each other, but By far the Best way..... Almost everyone here said the like momogamy, but ALL are Divorice, Separated, and a couple that we widowed, or widower.....Yes you John Spending mor time to find the right one is what I have been doing for 10 yrs, yes Dated a few, but not found my Match .......sure found alot of game players........
We Cant Play Games , and want Monogamy too!!!!! so something is wrong Here...... Everyone here wants it, but hardly NONE will do what it takes to make it work
I've been on both sides of the fence on this, over the years. What I've now found is that the intimacy, the growth of love, the strengthening of a relationship can really only be found in a monogamous one, for me, anyway. I've done the multiple partners thing, lived with two women in an "open" relationship and found that there's no satisfaction in a polygamous lifestyle. After awhile jealousies develop, people grow apart, or don't want to remain in that type of lifestyle. I relate it to my music. I play several instruments, but really only play well when it's one instrument at a time. If I try to play several at once, I get a lot of noise but not much good music!
