how long you been out?
i would imagine it be hard just getting back in to normal civie life never mind a relationship one step at a time if you just been discharged in last few months or so

im out a long time.. joined when i was 19... 39 now and its like i was never out, if u know what i mean...but still feels like im there ...and i hate it that way. it still seems to have some hold over me. no wonder i cant do the things i want to do..

then,,if you could,,what would be some of themt hings....just a suggestion,,,but why don,t you make a list of them things,,and when u feel up to doing even one,,then tick it of your list.lifes to short to be living in the past,,u have to let go

Heat, cold, dust, wind, insects, local diseases, desert land...I might be wrong but if this is the basic scenario there I guess it would be enough alone to make someone want to run away after 5 days!...and hate the sand for a lifetime...
