My alma mater city, Santa Cruz, has an anti-discrimination based upon appearance ban. I am all for that and think superficiality is bad for business. Good workers come in all shapes, sizes, and styles.

Perhaps on the one hand, nobody cares because rich people are usually rich and when they are ugly, they don't mind fixing it? On the other hand, poor people are normally uneducated to understand that they can fight for a change?

That can be true if you are overweight as well. I don't remember where I read it but the "beautiful people" usually get promoted before the rest of us. Physical attractiveness is a very powerful thing.

Never heard of this until I read this thread topic but I do know one thing for certain that I wouldn't want to work for a company of any kind who had that requirement.
