If you post on the forums you have to have a pic on your profile. Also CS will have to vet pics before they are allowed up. This will stop fake profilers posting up on here with no pic or with a false pic.
Whats your views on this?. I am sure people will be saying they are back under a new name as they don't want certain people to know they are back. Well within a few weeks of posting people will know who you are by what you post.
I agree with you there needs to be a method of verification i think hess touched on it a few weeks ago with the signed pic. Peoples privacy is very important to so i would say the best thing if you did'nt want your pic up but wanted people to know your genuine would be to send a signed pic to the site itself and when they are satisfied that your profile gets a star or a v sign to say you are a verified memberIf you post on the forums you have to have a pic on your profile. Well I disagree and I'm going to be repetitive here. I can't post a pic even if I wanted to because I'm banned. I'm not asking for exceptions to be made just for me. I think there should be one rule for everyone.
I don't have a problem with fakers, if I think I recognise that some profile is fake I stay away from their posts rather than joining a witch hunt. The fakes out themselves at the end of the day by being rude and offensive...then again there's people with legitimate photos who are rude and offensive too....JMO

I don't think it's a good idea at all.
Some people are on the site without a picture for private reasons, and I won't blame them.
How easy is it to download your picture on to my machine and then open a profile with it on a site you don't want to be seen dead on?
I have met people on other forums who found their own profile pictures in the weirdest places.
Therefor I say, you can't force anyone to risk that.
And as to send a signed picture to the site?
Well, can't I print out any picture I find on the net?
So I don't think there is a real solution, unless you want pictures to be verified by the cops or a solicitor.
I think a girl on here had a great idea ,,, which that you posted a pic of yourself with you holding a card with your profile name on it...

agreed ..but would it not stop ....some ppl robbing pics from other sites and posting them on here...I'm not saying its a perfect solution ..but it would stop a few messer's

No, all you need do is crop the photo and it's as you were. If CS wanted to curb photo stealing from here, a watermark or a software tweak is the way to go but if people want to steal photos, they can get them off any other site online and not here.
well i have to agree their a few innocent people have been banned from the site here and the ones who have fake profiles will adeventually make a slip up and be caught out to be honest it wont stop people putting up fake profiles i just think the ones who are fake we should block them like why should we speak to them their only here to cause trouble
as far as im aware on pof you cant put up fake pictures so can be done you can only out up your own pictures!!
but on plentyoffish you cant put up a fake picture or copy any else picture i just tried it for the laugh or maybe im doing it wrong
