Whether someone else likes it or not shouldn't be an issue. If a tattoo expresses yourself, then thats your decision to make, regardless of what anyone else thinks.

They used to be cool but now everybody and their grandma has one. I saw a woman at the beach who had a dolphin on her lower back that looked like it was coming out of her butt crack.
I love them but make absolutely sure that you want it because it is permanent. Yes they can be removed but it is very painful and expensive. Insurance does not cover it because it is an elective procedure. If you get one, make the first one a small one that is hidden by your clothing. See how you like it and then go from there. Also make sure you go to a reputable tattoo parlor and make sure that you see them remove a NEW STERILE NEEDLE. Unfortunately a lot of places re-use their needles to save money and that could cost you your life.ie:hepatitis and worse, aids.
everyone had there own opoinen on getting a tattoo,i got my because of personal stuff and not,so yea,but tattoo's are cool/awesome yahoo/rock on to them.
