inwestend: At your level of use, I don't think the Mac experience would be that different for you. But what you would find on the Mac is that the little things - the attention to detail - everything just works to make life easier for you. Maybe give it a try. Pop down to the Apple shop for a test drive.
I was thinking that our best buy here has a whole apple play section and i want to try it
francie81: I be sceptical of many free anti-virus porgrams, am using spybot & norton together although my technician disagrees with Norton as he claims it leaks viruses still but am only using it because of the free trial & I bought the full 12mths which I shall install when my trial is up. You might like to check out Avast Anti-Virus probably de best out there.
the geek squad isn't free just avg is..i will check that one out thank you
The only things I look at are memory because more and more is needed because Windows is always updating Also the specs to graphic cards keep improving so they need upgrading

The great thing about a mac is everything is plug and play, not plug and prey. If you're intersted in graphics then mac is what artist swear by. I'm still using win 2000 and i can make it do what i want, you can also get your pc to do what you want. It however will require some work and knowlege. It can be dun with small upgrades, manipulations and doing the work yourself.
Very true, but in the long run, you have to run Firefox as IE will continue to get hijacked and the OS is continuously being attacked.
So, you have to be knowledgeable and in the long run, your better off learning the MAC instead of wasting time learning how to keep your Windows OS bug free.

Windows trys to automaticaly upgrade, when it does that you are a guinypig. In the event the upgrade is smurfed then you are also. I've found that sometimes the upgrades are just eliminations of that card.
friends4now: Alright fine!!! *running along to apple site* I will go see it and see if I might change my mind
Bless you, you won't regret it!! You'll save your sanity by not trying to keep your windows machine clean and bug free and you'll also get a better machine!!
Good luck!! We should all go MAC!! Windows is evil!!
