mcneillm: Haven't seen the first, loved the rest. If I'm not stuck here when I'm drinking, I'm in front of the telly watching movies one after another.

Edward Scissorhands is an absolute classic. Yesterday, the kids and myself watched the 3 Back To The Future films one after another.

Classic stuff!
What's eating Gilbert Grape is very kitsch.
Loved it.
Love Baz Luhrman too....... Strictly Ballroom!

Have to agree with a few here. I love Juno, Little Miss Sunshine, Good Fellas, Parenthood along with Amelie, Gladiator, La Vie en Rose, Etre et Avoir, Downfall, The Pianist and so much more.

My kids are huge Tim Burton fans too, especially my daugther. They were also M Knight Shymalan fans until Lady in the Water. They went to see it and came home humming and hawing and never, ever asked to get the dvd so I knew it hadnt worked for them. I really liked Signs and The Village though.

I also like Golden Oldies like Its a Wonderful Life, The Third Man, 12 Angry Men and Casablanca. My list could go on and on and on......
