I'm amazed at how crazy this is, I had been out of the country for several months so when I got home I wanted to go on a date. Well I got my wish but my goodness.... the girls here just, drive me insane, the conversation is 80% focused on how they look and why such and such shouldn't be dating such and such. For instance I get a message from this girl amanda, she describes her self as "Oh im blonde, blue eyes, little on the taller side, blah blah blah" so i ask to know a little bit about her. She seemed confused and doesn't know what else to tell -_-. I don't want to go on a date with barbie. Maybe i'm just being too judgmental. But is it so much to ask that someone be more concerned with other people than themselves? frustrated

The truth hurts only when it is in fact true. So it sure as hell ain't hurting me.

Like I said before,if you don't like it you can always go bat for the other team. You act like you do anyway...so come out already and be true to yourself!

Good for you. You want a real woman not a kid. She can be any age but needs to be interesting and mature enough to carry on a conversation. You set you sights and when you find her you'll know. You know what you want, so don't settle for less.See a mans brain can be in his head...Good Thinking. I have a daughter that is in school to be a RN then maybe a Doctor (up to her) there out there but you won't find them in the mall unless they are shopping for shoes. Good Luck thumbs up

it isn't being judgemental to want to date someone that you click with.
if you go on a date, what are you supposed to do , just stare at each other?

no, both men and women have very right to expect conversation/humor that is compatible with their own.

It's isn't too much to ask that they be interested in you but some people email and don't say much then want you to respond. Sometimes it is hard to guess what they want so we have to go on experience. peace

That's true, and it's not really about women.
It's about America and its effect on people's minds.
It's not their fault.
It's the effect of the US media.

You have to get away for a while before that becomes fully evident.

Whenever I visit the states now the TV gives me the creeps.
Everything from the commercials, to the "news", to the soap operas, to the cartoons....is all about mental conditioning.

A general dumbing down, accompanied by prefabricated "official" opinions.

No need to think.
All you have to do is absorb the newtold lies like everybody else.
So the brain shuts down.

It's hard to know what to do.

Some people feel threatened if you say too much too soon.
Others feel like you're wasting their time if you tell your life story in the first email.

That's why I don't mail anybody unless I already know them from the forums.

I cant comment on US women, but I can say its the same here..

I hear so many guys here complaining about the "emptiness" of the younger lady these days. I have no idea if it is true or not, but I do have my own beliefs..laugh

There is a BIG "Older Woman" culture in Ireland, and I guess it is partly because of what you allude to in your post.

You are a cute lad. Take your time, there is no rush. Someone will come along who has more than hair straighteners on her mind, believe me..

Good luck..thumbs up
