You would really be pushing it mate - more like 4 hours depending on traffic.

Have a look at for approx times & route ,

Darren

Zellarrone1: What's a stig?

THE Stig -He's the allegedly anonymous character that tests fast cars around the circuit on Top Gear - He is believed to be Michael Schumacher in heavy disguise as you never see his face. grin

The regular Stig is not Schumacher.

He'd be far too expensive.

Why would he go from over £10 million a year driving Ferrari F1 to driving road cars round the little Top Gear Test Track for less than £1 million?

Schumacher would be quicker than the Stig.

Some say: there's been more than 1 Stig.

That was a mildly humourous Top Gear wind-up.

It may have been Schuey as the Stig on that programme - driving the latest Ferrari supercar. Just look at the lap times. Great PR exercise for Ferrari. Schuey's job before his recent return to F1 was PR man for Ferrari.

But Schumacher wasn't the Stig for the Koenigsegg, Zonda, Ascari, Bugatti, Caterham etc etc etc.

The BBC couldn't afford him as a regular contributor.

You'll notice that the Stig reverted back to helmet wearing anonymity for the rest of the series. Why do that if it was really Schumacher? A glimpse of Schumachers face on each programme would have helped boost ratings.

I'll take your expert opinion on it - I only saw it that once by accident.
