Yes, it is highly unusual. Sounds like he, and you, have fallen in love with the idea of love and not the person. At least show him a photo of you so he knows, physically, whom he "has fallen in love with". That is only fair...........

In an ideal world it is the 'person' that we fall in love with absolutely!!... but if you havent met them.. I would hold the declarations of love and marriage proposals a bit closer to my heart...
Meet... and then make up ur mind.. alot of the ground work and ice breaking has been done in a very neutral way so it wouldn't be too unusual if things moved fast from that point onwards..

I don't know if I'd consider it weird.She did say that he sent her his picture and that they were going to meet I think in Feb.
Like I posted before I wouldn't marry someone I never met and got to know but to each their own.
