What scares me is this kind of fear mongering B.S.!!!! Seriously, you should be scared of a DO NOTHING Congress or the fact that 2% of the population has 98% of the wealth or that people don't do their research before passing on this kind of hype....Oh so much to fear!! The only thing that scares me about Obama is his relentless attempts to reach across the isle so much he is falling on his face...he needs to stand up to the Republicans and get this country back on track

With all due respect, I resent the fact that you say Obama supporters are looking through rose colored glasses. I reach my conclusions by doing sound research on the issues that are important to me! Obama did not break the 10th amendment! Why do you think all those states dropped the lawsuits, there was no basis!! When you use words like "regime" and "socialism" you are perpetuating the lies that encourage people to get madder and madder with no solid basis. There will be no civil war, people will begin to see progress soon. People are frusturated right now, but they are forgetting that it takes time to recover and rebuild.

Thanks for pointing that out! Al Queda didn't have a strong presence in Iraq until the war started. Bush misled the American people, if terrorism was his focus he would have invaded Afghanistan.

compared to Bush = Tax cuts for the rich, HUGE Deficit, Unwarranted War.

Of course I don't approve of Hussein, but Bush had no right going in there and misleading the American people. There were much better ways to handle the situation besides war! Over 4000 people have died in Iraq..it is disgraceful that we even got involved!!

Like it or not, we are a global community and we have to think about other countries...we all need each other! Our economy has a tremendous impact on the world. There is nothing wrong with trying to strengthen relations...and sheeeesh a little basketball? A party or two? give me a break!!!

Some people are mad as hell because of the misinformation that is out there? What did he take over? Healthcare? No, the public option was thrown out? He is serving the will of the people....we voted him in, full well knowing his agenda. This country is going to come out stronger than ever. And as far as Bush keeping us safe...NOT! 9/11 happened on his watch and he threw us into a war with Iraq...when they had NOTHING to do with 9/11!!

Great! Vote then! But I completely disagree with you, he is not coddling terrorists and he certainly didn't dis the Dalai Lama. He has come along way in repairing the relationships that Bush messed up, we are finally starting to be respected again in the global community.

It is childish comments like that, that stop progress and divide. Obama is a good man and he is getting a raw deal, if people took the time to actually research his policies you would find that he is going to pull us out of the mess that Bush got us into!

I'm not sure how you came to that conclusion, the law is designed to help small businesses and their employees. If your family business is less than 50 employees and your payroll is less than 500,000 you are not required to participate. This law is a good thing, it is not perfect and there are many flaws but it is a step in the right directions. As things stand right now small businesses are paying 18% higher premiums than larger corporations, where is the fairness in that?

Keep in mind that if you have 50 or less employees you are exempt from the obligation, but if you choose to buy coverage you will be eligible for tax credits. Do you have more than 50 employees?

It will be a good couple years before the employment rate get to where we need it to be. Very true about the housing sales and property values...and the banks aren't lending!!! That was an issue I had with the bail out, although it is slowly working, there should have been provisions that required banks to continue lending.

It is a tough market out there right now, but with unemployment rates falling, GDP (gross domestic product)rising and the stock market rebounding, all indicators suggest that the worst of the recession is over. I would call that a recipe for re-election and democratic dominance in November.

I don't agree that the ship is sinking, but I will agree with you that some of the division is staged on both sides. That's why I say over and over again to my friends, do your research, learn the issues and listen to non-biased news sources...then make your own educated decision, because the main steam media is distorting the facts.
