They added a few amendments this week and I think you will see more improvements! It is not perfect but it is a step in the right direction!

I have come to realize on these Obama bashing threads that people are really closed minded. They are determined to beat this guy down before he has even had a chance to clean up the mess that Bush has left! I have quit participating just for that reason. He has only been in office 9 short months and he has accomplished a lot but people are blinded by their own beliefs. Bushs' congress was not always full of democrats, but they choose to only blame them anyway!! I gave up along time ago trying to convince anyone on here otherwise...the are too stubborn to be objective!!

If I have it....I give it!! Actually, a couple times during the Christmas season I have taken my kids to the waterfront in Seattle (large homeless population there) and handed out $5.00 bills. Best money we ever spent!! It helps them and does a heart good too and teaches a valuable lesson to my kids about humanity and kindness!!

Yeah...it was some crazy sh**! It was on all the news channels for hours!!! Common sense told me straight off that an over sized helium balloon wasn't gonna lift a 50lb kid. I kinda thought they would have figured it out sooner!! But then again, when a child is involved..common sense goes flying out the window!! Thank goodness it had a happy ending

The decision ultimately lies with you, but I think you should take a couple years to think about it. You are still so young and I think you should research it and make sure you are going in for the right reasons. I have many friends and relatives that have gone and some have died, some have been damaged forever and I have a friend right now that is really suffering from post traumatic stress syndrome. Don't rush the decision especially if you are going to be put in a combat situation, you will have to hurt or kill people and sometimes they are innocent people. My friend had a child die in his arms the day after he taught him how to play soccer. War is ugly and there are NEVER any winners. Wait a few years and go during peace time...just my thoughts...but follow your heart!

They are definitely both biased!! I like to watch both networks and then an unbiased news source, usually the facts fall somewhere in the middle. But if I had to choose it would be Olberman all the way, he is usually more accurate in his facts!
