The bail-out were in the works before he took office and the Government is the only entity strong enough to bail them out. They had to do it for the good of the country. Free everything means more access to medical care, education, etc. It is an investment not a give away and I would think you would want us to be healthy and smart so we can compete globally.....
Yes Indeed....the country has spoken and he has a wonderful approval rating! He has made great moves and surrounded himself with great people. The Obama haters will still be Obama haters no matter what he does!!
You are right, but he is not soley counting on taxing to cover his dream. He has a comprehensive plan that includes cutting out unnecessary programs and other cost saving in addition to taxation.
Look, Obama is not the end all, fix all President. He has a huge job ahead of him and he makes it clear that it took All OF US to get where we are and it is going to take ALL OF US to fix it. He has a knack for inspiring change within people, he has the charisma to move people to action, that is what I meant.
It will be free for us but for the country it is an investment in our future. When you have a strong health care system, higher education and a strong infrastructure, you create jobs, decrease health costs and have educated people that can compete in a global economy and provide for future generations.
It is a sound plan. The Republicans had there chance now it is time for real action. If I am wrong...I will eat my words, but I really believe that he is the usher for change. The top 2% makes up most of the wealth in this country and it is time that we get someone in there that won't ignore the needs of America, like Bush did.
Yes, I have had the same experience. However, if you visit the forums you can meet some really great people and you it is fun too. Things seem to happen once you participate in the discussions. Just my opinion, of course. Good luck
RE: A Dedication to Our President (after his speech last night)
In 20 months our deficit will be cut by almost 50% and in 20 months you will be back here eating your words and buying me a beer
