Good Question. I think that this idea will be met with a lot of resistance. I love my Barack, and I agree that we are falling short in education but, I am a teacher and I would hate to give up my summers. I think quality teaching time is much more important than quantity. Hopefully, they will be able to reach a compromise. I agree that meeting new Educational standards if CRITICAL.
Voting for Obama was the right choice!! The American people have spoken and I would hate to think that the vast amount of America has no mind (i am sure you meant brains). Guantanamo is on a time-line for closure and Iraq is also on a time line. Did you expect him to just pull out now!! If he did you guys would be criticizing him for that too. He has done an awesome job since he has been in office and today was another great move, lifting the ban on stem cell research.
He is going to offset the energy increases by offering credits and assistance to those who cannot afford it. Also, it will not be an overnight thing. It is an important first step in reducing our dependence on foreign energy. It has to be done!

When I was younger, looks mattered! I have been with many pretty boys and I have learned over time that (generally speaking) pretty boys are much more shallow and more likely to wonder. Now days, a good-hearted, down-to-earth guy that can carry on an intelligent conversation is the way to go!!
