Well I fly to New York on Aug 28th, go on a cruise on Aug 30th for a week, one of my best friends is getting married on a cruise to Bermuda. I will spend a further ten days in NY when we return.

No I asked them not to contact me, they have my address etc. as their daughter was in some of my classes there. I genuinely would be too upset hearing about him, dogs are like babies when they're young and he was very small when I found him, maybe 3months only. I arrived there in January and it was like he was a dumped Christmas present.....and it was sooooooooooo cold outside at that time, as you probably well know!

BC isn't so bad though, much more scenic too. Mountains, deep lakes, waterfalls and greenery everywhere. Makes me wonder why I stayed on the prairies as long as I have.

I've told a number of people that they're more than welcome to come over, just write me. I don't mind company at all, and I won't even make you paint my house.
Of the 4 people I've met from the site, one stayed with me for 5 weeks last summer while visiting from Australia, it was great!
