I guess I'm already hung. Belushi, cause I don't prepare for dates. I just GO.
I mean, I shave and shower and smell nice and have fresh breath and all that, but I don't go through some big psychological preparation. Hopefully, this Gal I am going to have the date with is someone I've already been talking to for quite some time, so I don't need to impress her ; we're already at the "acceptance" stage, so I go relaxed and easy, but EXCITED, and I let that excitement pervade everythng that happens.

Ok, lets say you got talking to a nice lady in the park yesterday, and you guys hit it off, and yada yada, and you invite her out for a coffee,she says yes, so Tuesday lunchtime, you sit and have coffee and then she drops the big one
"Do you fancy going out on Saturday?"
Now, after you look over your shoulder to make sure she was actually talking to you, you mumble something about "yes"
Then she says
"I dont mind what we do, I leave it up to you!"
Another mumble about ok emits from your gobsmacked mouth!
Right its Friday afternoon, you bunk off work early, and rush home to iron your Georgio Armani socks, and starch your boxers!!!!
Now comes the preparation ...
What is the most important thing in your opinion about the date? Starting from the nervous pacing in the garage, looking for that 8-track tape player you been promising to install in your car for years!

Being cleaned up and presentable is a given. My biggest thing would be to plan to do something that wouldn't lead to boredom. Instead of the movie/dinner/dancing blah blah blah usual thing, find a common interest and then plan something around that.
