Sticking to participants with replies in this thread I would choose YamiYami, because: he is never short of crazy enough ideas as he is a natural survivor, he is practical in the same time of weired fun with a lot of cynical intelligence... and I could care less how he looks like in this case

Here on the Lake of Constance...Bodensee.. we dont see much sun today, but weather is good..
I am home today as well, since my little one catched the cold from me we make the best out of it anyway .. brought the car in the garage for some fixing .. and this afternoon carving a pumpkin and roast some chestnuts..

but seriously, each language has its absurds and tricks.. I learned 5 different ones and its sometimes a mix, .. but still I am glad that German was my mother language - its the most confusing one to teach or learn in later life.

I have never seen the need of a document stating I am officially recognized to feel love and bound to someone for the good and the bad times.
I allways felt that official marriage ceremonies are the reason many girls want to get married in the first place, its for the cinderella romantics and when they get back to reality its such a shock

Just imagine that couples could see a film showing their life the next years together how many you think would still get married ?

But then I think it depends on circumstances - I rather go with the saying : never say never !

here in Germany and Switzerland they dont know them at all, I seen them in Mexico and in Spain.. and simply imported it.

A mexican Piniata game ...
sure you can buy one in the states or make one yourself with a large paperbag... nicely decorated with all kind of colourful ribbons attached with a tacker..
Fill the bag with lots of nice things ... little toys, and lots of sweets of course... and then hang it high up .. on a tree or similar.. then each kid has a turn with bended eyes try hit on the back with a stick, until it breaks open and all the kids grap what they can get.. I seen the kids just love it and each one of the little guests has something to take home too..

It was a great and interesting time more as 25 years ago
but it was not easy then to live there - if you see the way most original mayas time indigines have to live, and live with the rich Mexican upperclass who follows their interests only. I think in that sence it has become worth. And Mexican family can only survive because one member of the family is working in the US sending money home.. Que lastima

I lived for over 2 years in Mexico and have visited many ancient sights, its an impact to get so near to this long gone mystical high cultures. Its a shame that so much has been distroyed and plundered by the Spanish Conquistadores

first I don´t belong to the beautiful peoples clubbing dating category anymore
but in other activities like sport, courses of your interest are good, at least you meet people interested in the same subject.
I can highly recommend things like a course in gourmet cooking and wine tasting... at least you can be sure he will cook for you
