Egypt has a lovely custom where the dates that are sold during Rammadan are named, according to their quality, after famous or infamous people.
The best dates this year are named after Obama.
The worst (cheapest ones) this year are named after Bush and Netanyahu
Oftentimes good or bad ones are named after movie stars etc., but this is the first year that a US President got the best ones.
