well its being ripped apart,reopens in a cpl of weeks,guy that took it over use has two restaurants in ballsbridge,do know wont b a rockbar anymore,used to be good along time ago but not anymore
Kev, Eammonn Doran's is not a kip!! It's just not all flash and stylish.... prob smells a bit... but apart from that it's a legendary bar!!

i went there as a kid aswell my mates were in a band,
and i went there the last few years the odd time,

Prob will be for the new owners... absolute prime location.
Well, we still have Bruxelle's, Thomas Reids (not sure if it's still a rock bar since it changed management earlier in the year), Fibbers (another kip but still...), Whelan's... and well that's about all I can think of.
Any one know any other good rock bars around Dublin?
