Lucky Charms are a breakfast cereal made by General Foods, I belive. Their jingle includes the words "magically delicious" so that part is a joke.
Lucky charms are also refered to as a talisman.
A talisman is a small amulet or other object, often bearing magical symbols, worn for protection against evil spirits or the supernatural.
Brides sometimes put a penny in their shoe for good luck in marriage. Years ago, gents put a penny in their shoe for good luck; hence the penny loafer.
Sometimes when people are gambling and doing well, they will refer to their partner as a "lucky charm."
Well, this thread is going no where. I was hoping to start a non-bashing thread and lighten the forum up a bit. It's not going to work at this time; I guess people are just in a bashing mood right now.
OneKitty: Do you have a lucky charm? If so, what is it?
(Or maybe you are one! )

I think your attempt is most admirable and commendable. Its not your fault it falls on stoney ground, it seems folk are in a bashing mood more often than they are not, sadly.
Soooo....
Like you, I am signing off too......... but for good!!
