I can't say that I have though a couple have obviously been very dissapointed and clammed up the moment we met. I would just make the most of the night and try to enjoy it anyway.

to be honest n i dont consider it a free night out from the ladies point of view , i enter a date with open mind but, then they dont like the all singing dancing company Or girls have you ever been used in the same way ?

Gosh, maybe i did not make it clear in the thread but i was asking did women ever just go out with you men for a free meal/night out and had no interest in you apart from the fact you were the one paying the bill

First date shouldnt involve going out for dinner, just a cup of tea or a drink to see if theres any chemistry there,I dont believe in a man paying all the time, women got the vote and equal rights, they are well able to go up to a bar and order drinks themselves
I have met up with two guys from a different dating site and went dutch with both of them,i wouldnt like to use someone or be used by someone, my conscience wouldnt allow it..
I was used once... I went out for a meal and a drink with a lovely girl..and she got me really drunk...and at the end of the night... she got me back to her house....took my trolleys off and abused me...yes, abused me!!!...well.. I was so drunk and confused...I didn't know what was going on or where I was...so you..yes you..and you know who you are.... if you're out there and reading this...all I can say is ...can you please get back in touch....I'm free any night.......

I mostly agree with this.....although not sure what equal rights and a womans right to vote has to do with going to the bar to buy someone a drink....isnt it just straightforward good manners to return the nice gesture?
..and no I have never felt used.....I would never put myself in that position in the first place....

Hello Little Miss....hope youre feeling better today.
Im well used to paying my way so I feel happier paying my share of the evening...although there have been occasions where the man has paid for everything after having insisted for whatever reason....and I have gratefully accepted and appreciated the kindness at the time. I do however hate the guys who have a notebook in their backpocket where they keep account of who has paid for what and when....or does that only happen with some Scotsmen??....
I try and avoid getting into this situation of being used by a gold digger.I always see if i am interested in the women,ask her out for a drink see if we have chemistry.If i am unsure will ask out again.If we have chemistry have no problems with spending more.
