Clone: I could not see my self dating/going out with some one youger than 25. Id feel to weird about it...nearly as if i was taking advantage or something. Its not that I see anything wrong with it but i just would not feel comfortable. I have a rough guide that I will go ten years younger or older but anything beyong that would just get a bit too starnge as I find it hard to imagine our interests would be the same.

hmmm, this seems to be the general consensus. is it time for abigail to give up?! laugh

(er.. im abigail btw!)

navbabe: to be honest i think it was more like she thought i was looking for his money...but i was saving for my house at that time...i wasnt really going out...i had people over for dinner my social circle was a lot older than me...we used to even meet my mum and dad in the pub

she just had no inclination of getting to know the real me...she had a biased idea in her head prob put there by her mum etc or whomever and never gave me a chance

as reagarding my kids...i would never be without them...but in saying that you never miss what you have never had...i would at that time.. have been happy because i already had a child and wasnt looking for more...but cest la vie

oh dear! the "your a gold digger" scenario. that cant have been pleasant!

....cest la vie indeed sweety.....teddybear

Well the way I look at it is I dont rule out the possibility that I could meet some one a lot longer than me and actually connect with them...its just I dont really look to/or expect to meet a girl who is 10 years or more younger than me. The worst that can happen is I might make a new friend if that situation arose.dancing

Possibly...and fair play to you for having such an outlook.. I just think that she saw a chequebook... then again I am much older than you are and I am probably much more cynical...

yeh true....but the likelyhood of you or i having something in common wit some one 10 yrs younger or more/ older or more.... is kinda slim
