i've met a few famous ppl...i've met jack charlton a couple times here in a hotel he used to come down fishing....i've met don baker...actually filled in a motor tax renewal form for him in the tax office...met joe dolan loads times dad went to school with him and i went with his niece sandra...met gabriel byrne (the actor not gaybo) in the airport years ago he bought me and my sis and mum a drink...thats all i can think of at the moment....oh i met luke kelly when i was a kid but i was to young to appreciate who he was

mine is when i was about 10 i was on holiday in doonbeg, county clare and i was fishing on the river banks and this man approaches me with another guy, no idea who they were. so they said "kid, wanna go fishing with us" so i ran up and asked my parents, they wanted to meet this guy so for some reason my dad got all excited when he was talking to him. anyways , still without realising who he was, off i went fishing with them, went down through fields only to be chased out by about 4 bulls and 50 cows.. it was a near death experience, but we just escaped. i was on this guys shoulders as we were running.. when i was about 15, then i only realised who the guy actually was.... GREG NORMAN.. aint that cool.. and he gave me 20 quid.. savage
