Well that would have to be a deal breaker for me.........there is no way in the world i would get rid of my pets for a man. No romantic walks on the beach without the dog? I just wouldnt let a relationship progress if he had a problem with animals.

depends how much of a companion my dog was
In all seriousness if you place the company of a four legged creature with a 12 year life span max, over the company of another human being and maybe a life partner you probably have an answer to why you're single?

defo my lover, i wud probably want my dog around a lot more 
He wont hastle me or get me stressed, he doesnt need money, cant share his problems, doesnt eat much doesnt use the toilet so cant mess the bathroom or leave the seat up... jeeze the list is endless how can u campare ????

Yes i would if i me and that person were getting serious. And how can you compare how you treat a dog to how you would treat a partner. Thats a stupid arguement. You are a dogs master not his friend. I have heard it all now, comparing loyalty and compassion of a dog to a relationship with another person. You should really get out more. It will maybe give you and the dog a break from each other.
Oh I wish I could buy one of these magic crystal balls then all I would have to do is look and see if he is the one for me. Then Id dump the dog over the bridge in a bin bag and live happily ever after.

Live alone with yor dog, probably haven't taked to a woam face to face in years, (family doesn't count), prob moved out of home aged 33 (thats presuming you have moved out of your parents), putting your dogs happiness in front of a possible life partners. Ignoring all of the above...if I really loved someone I think Id put him before the dog lol...jeez Id even give up my cat for him....but he'd need to be really special for me to do that....and if he was that special he wouldnt make me give up my cat in the first place....
