Laura25: Do you think copying-and-pasting posts from various Islamic blogs like this one
without crediting the source,

a). reflects a real view of a CS poster who does it?

or

b). committing a literary theft gives him a thrill as any other theft would?

or

c). it's just an attempt to get a long-winded fight-thread with his name as an author?

Conversational.
Great thread Laura. wave Many of us copy paste stuff, but when asked we don't claim we wrote it. That is where real plagarism comes In. When we act like it's our thoughts, and not give credit or admit it's not ours. wink wine

jbibiza: This reminds me of a situation last year when someone did a cut and paste and was complimented for such a well written and thought out reply... and said thank you. Shortly after someone posted the cut and paste with the appropriate reference....Busted!!!!
Oh Yeah, that one is so fake, that person even had a fake picture up of a model and claimed that to be their picture.
And almost everything including simple thoughts , that person posted was copied from all sorts of other online places. Plagarism at the max I believe.
Also after the pic was taken away by our mods, the person's profile eye color changed three times. Omg. Can't get any faker than that.
I think that is why some do the plagarism to look smarter than they really are, they have a motive to win their point or to look better. They aren't really very bright.rolling on the floor laughing laugh wink

thumbs up good for you!

I wish I did too sigh

And back on topic:

Check it out... LOL!!

This picture is the strongest point, which Islamic blog copied to CS forums have, to prove their 'an-obstacle-for-peace-in-the-world' point...

Fancy, no? giggle

Even women-bashing threads start looking innocent against this chasing-a-cheap-thrill ho...

I mean, what else is it, when it's being done atthe expanse of suffering in Mideast people?

We had a half a dozen threads on this topic in a last couple of weeks -- he chose to participate in none of those, but seeing what a wreck it causes in forums, figured copying Islamic blog as an opening post must do the trick. thumbs down

I tend to go with A and C...it is not so egostistical to not post the sources unless one knows the true motive, but IF it is ego to have their name up, then it is on the wrong side; it would impress others more as to their abilities to find the relevant doc. to quote. That research is far more impressive, at least to me. (But then again, I've been collecting relevant documentation on this topic for years...the actual 'hard copies', especially from the UN hysterical, I mean historical archives in Europe...grin

(a) and (c)? hmmm

...let's see...

a). reflects a real view of a CS poster who does it?

c). it's just an attempt to get a long-winded fight-thread with his name as an author?

You might be on to something here, Solitare thumbs up

The only reason I doubt that (a) plays any significant role here is the fact that we do know each other's views pretty well,

and if a person doesn't care to express his views on this subject even once in a long chain of the identical threads, there is NO personal view, no passion about the subject -- he doesn't give a rat's behind neither about middle-easterns nor about people who are hurt reading these constant hatred threads in Connect Singles forums.

Hence I still think it's (c) wine ...slightly laced with (b) smile blushing ...

P.S. Read what LILLYLADY has to say... Then there was this very beautiful and very intelligent lady on CS a while ago - Lacali (am sure many still remember her). One of the funniest and most interesting conversationalists around here... anybody ever wondered why she left CS? This blind black hatred has chased her away. Then there is Cj the kindest, most gentle soul I've ever met... is it fair to her to read this filth on a daily basis?

C-type folks are pretty skillful in manipulating the crowd --

they get their 'attention-ho' thrill, hate-promoting folks get their chance for a shameful witch hunt, and... dunno everybody's happy grin teddybear

How important is it??

Very...

When a misogynist like, for instance, that one
~~>

comes out of the woodwork and then every now and then makes 180 degrees turns feeding you lot from all these tedious finicky websites...

etc., etc., etc.

...with all these little thingys... little line by little line, ...well... Pat, why would you ask if it's important to know?

If it weren't, I wouldn't post this thread.

P.S. You want to know why else it's important, Pat?

Because it's vile to bait people like that and then sit back and enjoy the fight. IMO. And my opinion somehow is important to me... Vain smile , I know...

It was done in 'Russian women and Scams' (by the same poster, after 3 attempts, mind you), now with Jews... What is next? Blacks? Gays? Wait, no blacks, he is black. Or maybe not... who knows hmmm

Designed for fools but works every time thumbs up

Hi Alexey,

yet another brilliant post applause

I hope you don't mind me replying to your post here in my thread, because OP of the plagiarized thread doesn't seem to have his own opinion and I'd feel odd voicing my opinion to someone who starts such a stinky thread and disappears.

alexey8:
What is the point of these threads?

It the same story in every Israeli/Palestinian thread...almost nobody on this site is interested or cares about trying to find a solution. The majority of you just want to show of your fancy research, which most of the time has little no know credibility or is completely biased. And even when one of you manages to produce excellent unbiased and truly genuine research, stories, or so on...nobody listens, nobody cares...because everyone has their mind made up on this thread. And nobody is going to change their opinions int these threads. So, the whole point of discussing the Israel/Palestine issue here is utterly pointless and useless. It only serves to create angry and fights among members here, and often leads to people being banned.

Well, hope everyone enjoys arguing and for the most part presenting the most ridiculous accusations, research, articles, links, and so on....

ummm... hmmm...well... laugh

Not much to add to it, so let it be the last word here on this thread, because on lunatics' threads you'll never get a last word --

hate is indefinite sad flower
