Conrad73: What makes the Death-Penalty in the US more expensive than life behind bars is that exhaustive Appeal Process they can go through!Costs Millions. Enough Lawyers are willing to profit from that, and lobby against shortening it to a reasonable Maximum!
So very sadly true. By the time the execution rolls around, everyone has forgotten the crime (in most cases) and the only name remembered is the perpetrators-never the victims. SAD.

This is one SOB I won't shed a tear or waste a thought for. Lethal injection is too humane for him. He should have his brains blown out with a Bushmaster 7.65mm in front of his loved ones exactly the way he blew the brains out of that woman in the Home Depot parking lot right in front of her husband as they were loading their trunk.
In case you think I'm cruel, I have personal reasons for hating this guy because I was probably in his cross hairs behind the Ashland Ponderosa restaurant only moments before he shot a tourist in the belly.
he killed 10 people crazy or not he deserves what he gets
My son Steven told me there was a bike in the dumpster behind the reastaurant next to the Ponderosa and asked if we could go get it. I said sure so I drove over there and we walked back to the dumpster and fished out the bike. He was looking at it and started fiddling around with it trying to get the brake cables adjusted and such. I said lets do that at home. He said it'll just take a minute and went back to working on the bike. I said, I want to get outta here lets take it home and fix it. He said but all I have to do is something or other. I said no goddamn it lets get out of here I don't want to be here. So we left with the bike. On the way home I heard on the radio that some guy who was going on vacation or something was just shot not 50 feet from where we were. I was shaking like a leaf thinking that could've been me or my son. You know the feeling you get when somebody is watching you? I had that feeling that day very strong. I'm not embellishing this story at all. This guy is a serial killer.
RIZ, him and his young accomplice who he taught to shoot, had cut a hole in the trunk lid of a Chevy Caprice and by lowering the back seat they could lay in a prone position and shoot people through the hole in the trunk sight unseen the way one would shoot a game animal from a hunting blind. Some wannabe profilers were saying on TV that it must be a black guy or guys because he only shot white people. To confound the police they decided to shoot a black boy on his way to school. And you call me violent to want to see him get exactly what he did to so many innocent people?
rizlared: We are no longer allowed to discipline children in our homes or schools, this has allowed a generation who have no respect for authority and will, IMO, lead to anarchy, what possible good can come from saying we cannot smack an unruly child because it gives the child the idea violence is good, but its fine to kill someone who may have committed a crime. And as for banning people not guns, well I think the past few days in America has shown that no one is responsible enough to own a gun, so okay lets keep guns but ban all ammunition other than blanks.
Your first point is correct about discipline. However, there is no doubt that this man is guilty. Given that there are more guns than people in the U.S. I would say we have a rather low rate of gun violence, most murders being committed by street gangs in the drug trade. I believe that makes most gun owners responsible. After all, more people are killed in the U.S. by drunk drivers, but no one suggests banning motor cars.

That tactic is used in Iraq-shooting from the trunks of cars and/or vans.
