Stainless steel is great to clean
It comes up shiny and makes us beam
Gone are the scourers for which to scrub
Just need soft cloths and a jolly good rub

Here in Broadstairs we all know
and agree that stainless is a must
Anything else for us you see
will cause us too much fuss

And would he bake a fruity cake
To nibble on while you both partake
In a glass of wine or Kentish tea
Then perhaps paddle in the sea

Then hope you find what you want
And when on your walks you jaunt
Do you tip your hat 'n' say g'day
Would you like a trip to the bay?

You can guess if you wish but I will tell you this
if I find my housekeeper she won't want to miss
a long walk as the prom looks over Viking bay
so I'll keep her amused at the end of the day

That film Chocolat was on the telly
I watched it while I ate some jelly
I'd seen it before but had forgotten the look
Of that thick & smooth & mouthwatering choc

Cholat has got me now and I don't know what to write
so with that sad admission I wil have to say good night

Not exactly Will, I know, but neither was John Milton.
I'm off now to get some Tea & crackers with my Stilton laugh

Got a day that is bright, hot & fresh
I've just been out to pick some cress
I love it with a hard boiled egg
I'll share with my cousin Meg

Day comes after night, but time now I do not have.
So I will therefore think on the further lines and
now a tea break I will take.
Perhaps with thoughts refined, more words to hand
will come fill this rhyme, and finally will they,
a satisfactory readable contribution make.

Third word's turned into food for thought
And many a time I have fought
Tried to get my head around
And add a line that I had 'found'
My head would just not create a word
Thought I'd try after watching a bird
He's waiting now his time to bath
Tho a magpie waits on the path
Now its time - the way is clear
Go have a bath - have no fear

After I read such written lines so fine
I decided this from me was enough of rhyme.
I think the poetic thought and such lines
deserve their own thread as it is about time

Prost H cheers wine

Read your idea and it is good
Easier not starting with third word it would
So shall you or I begin this rhyming thread
And straight or funny verse from our heads?
